Addie Loves Dogs

The master plan for the year included adding a dog to the family. We decided on a vizsla and hoped to find one once Adelaide started walking; however, when we found out Jacob is allergic to dogs our plan was altered.

Now instead of bringing a dog into the family, we take the family to the dogs. On Saturday mornings, Plymouth holds a farmer's market downtown. Along with the fresh produce, flowers, and baked goods, people always bring their dogs for socializing. Adelaide and Spencer love to walk around the park, meeting each of the dogs. (It's the Olson family K9 welcoming committee.) This morning we saw 2 newfoundlands. They dwarfed the kids, but were so gentle.

I've been playing with my Holga lately and have been trying to get pictures of the kids with the dogs. The shot above is from a great set of pictures showing Adelaide playing with a golden retreiver.
